The PCLOB or Board seeks public comments regarding, and will hold a public forum to consider, privacy and civil liberties issues concerning the government's efforts to counter domestic terrorism.

The PCLOB plans to hold the public forum from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 26th. PCLOB will consider all public comments received by Thursday, June 30, 2022.

On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Sharon Bradford Franklin was sworn-in as Chair and Beth A. Williams was sworn-in as Member of the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board.


Yesterday, February 7, 2022, the Senate confirmed the nominations of Sharon Bradford Franklin and Beth Ann Williams to serve as Chair and Member, respectively, of the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. A full statement from Board Members Ed Felten and Travis LeBlanc, attached.
