Lynn Parker Dupree Named Executive Director
Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board Chairman Adam Klein has appointed Lynn Parker Dupree to serve as the Board’s new Executive Director. For nearly five years, Ms. Dupree has served as the Board’s Deputy General Counsel. She has been involved across the Board’s oversight and advice portfolio, including its report on Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

The subject of the forum is Countering Terrorism while Protecting Privacy and Civil Liberties: Where do We Stand in 2019? The forum will be open to the public and members of the media.

Safeguarding Civil Liberties and Countering Terrorism
Chairman David Medine and Board Members Rachel Brand and Elisebeth Collins were featured in a panel discussion at a March conference organized by the University of Texas at Austin Intelligence Studies Project. The topic of their panel discussion was titled, “Safeguarding Civil Liberties and Countering Terrorism.”
